I'd never read Lizzy Dent before discovering this novel, and I have zero knowledge and understanding of F1 racing, but a friend recommended I give her work a chance, and I was NOT disappointed. Drive Me Crazy is sexy, funny, and engaging on every page. Chloe Coleman has had to work her way up in the male-dominated world of racing.

Now that she's been given a chance to reform the worst team in the league, she knows there's a lot to prove. Her boss, though, won't let her walk into the spotlight alone. He wants all eyes on their team, so he hires recently disgraced driver Matt Warner to be the lead driver for the team.

Matt's recovering from a serious crash that severely injured his best friend, and each time he gets on the track, those demons haunt him. He's also haunted by Chloe's voice in his ear--a voice he knows well since they grew up together on the circuit and were good friends for many years. I'm not sure how race fans will feel with the depiction of F1 racing, but I loved the behind the scenes look at how those companies run, those cars are made, and how even the smallest shifts can alter a race.

That metaphor works for the way things heat up between Chloe and Matt, too. If you're squeamish about sex scenes, this one's not for you. But, if you like things a little racy (pun intended), you'll love Drive Me Crazy.
